Scenic Beauty after Nawalapitiya

I am attaching one more from the railway tour to Badulla. This scenic view was captured close to Nawalapitiya, one of the main railway stations in the Colombo - Badulla railway line.

Beautiful!
Now that LTTE trouble is eliminated, I guess Sri Lanka will be flooded with tourists. The country is so scenic! :)

You really have a scenic railway view.

I can understand why you keep going back to that railway. The view of the mountains is wonderful and I like the curve of the tracks at the bottom of the picture.

I love going on train rides. My Dad used to work for the railroad--so we got free passes (way back when) to travel. When I was about 8, we traveled via train from Virginia to California. Wonderful trip!!!!

You got some great pictures--with some terrific views.
