I posted about a suspension bridge (sangili palama) some time back too. This time, I am bringing a similar foot bridge but smaller than the earlier one. This bridge was found near Bamabarakiri Ella waterfall. The good thing about this bridge is that it allows you to cross the stream as well as to take some good pictures of the fall from the bridge.

wow that's nice suspension bridge K! looking at the pictures, I just wonder, is there another waterfall just below the bridge, or is that Bambarakiri Ella itself? :)

Below the bridge, it is the same Bamabarakiri Ella..the lower part. When you look below the bridge, you will see this :)
The suspension bridge is over-loaded!!! Better be careful of the resonance frequency. lol.

Whoa, that's quite a bridge. I think I'd have my heart in my throat the whole time I crossed. Makes for a heck of an image though.
oh, it looks scary to me, maybe because it seems to me there are a lot of people on the bridge.

Even when only one person walks over that it starts to vibrate..So i didnt know how it felt when 20 people went over it :)

that is a lovely place, fresh and calming! but can i take the long route to get to tha other side? that looks scary even from here...lol!
that is a lot of people on that bridge! I would prefer one or two at a time, ha. I so enjoy bouncing a wee bit as I cross bridges like this. Thank you for sharing and for your visits to my blog.

Yep you can take a longer route too.. but to find a place to jump over the stream you may have to take a pretty long route :)

Scary! You would never catch me on that bridge.

Yep the bridge is stronger than what you really see. The two bridges are quite contrasting yet used the same principle of physics isnt it :) I like your photo of the Golden Gate very much!

i remember crossing a swinging bridge as a child. it hung over the Big Sandy River in my hometown. i loved running across its uneven platform and making it swing. this is a great capture. hope all is well.

Yes I too felt the same when crossing this bridge. Even the smallest movement is magnified and you feel a considerable swing in the bridge.
